Yusuf Takoliya

Trainee Solicitor

I have been exposed to complex cases involving delays in diagnosing and treating spinal injuries such as Cauda Equina Syndrome, maternity injuries, and fatal cases. My passion for expanding my skillset is a driving force in my work. I am driven by the desire to make a meaningful difference to help individuals and families move forward to rebuild their lives.

Yusuf joined MDS in 2019 as a Paralegal and is now a traineesolicitor, having commenced his training contract in 2022. He has completed theSQE1 Functioning Legal Knowledge (FLK) assessments and intends to sit the SQE 2assessments in 2024.

He takes great pride in assisting Navdeep with her casefiles and manages a few of his own under supervision. He strives to meet highstandards in his work and is detail-oriented.

 

Prior to joining MDS, he completed his LLB at AstonUniversity. Yusuf also spent two years as an Adviser at Citizens Advice,whereby he assisted in providing free advice service to members of the public.

 

In his free time, Yusuf likes to appreciate art, read books,and use the gym. He also volunteers as a gallery engagement guide at LeicesterMuseum & Art Gallery and Newarke Houses Museum.
